Back in 2004 the little town of Charlotte, Michigan opened it’s Charlotte Performing Arts Center. It hosts many different kinds of performances and those involved task themselves with bringing culture and art to the town of Charlotte. The Friends of the Charlotte Performing Arts Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the CPAC and promoting fine arts in the Charlotte community. Lucky for me I was asked to photograph and document their annual event thrown in appreciation of their volunteers and board members at the Charlotte Country Club. The event was fun, with a Broadway theme that included costumes, tickets, and playbills. We witnessed show tune inspired performances from local high school students, teachers, board members, and emmy winning musicians. With activities, trivia, word searches, and much more, the event was a great success, as we can only hope the CPAC will be.
